Linda L. (Armstrong) Rickett

Ms. Linda L. Rickett, Age 56, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday October 15, 2019 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Linda was born February 14, 1963 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Shelby Earl Armstrong and her mother Celia Ann Butler of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

 Linda was a C.N.A for Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and also worked at U.S. Shoe, and Green Tokai. Fishing was her passion. She was of the Christian faith. She adored her grandchildren and loved watching them play sports and never missed any of their games.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Penny (Aaron) Gilbert of Vanceburg, Kentucky

Her son Bobby (Kasey) Armstrong of Vanceburg, Kentucky

Five Grandchildren Katlyn, Natalee, Jordan, Jayden, and Alaina

Sister Brenda (Allen) Flinders of Vanceburg, Kentucky

Her brothers Donald (Tammy) Armstrong of Vanceburg, Ky., Ronald (Kelly) Armstrong of Vanceburg, Ky., and Clinton (Becky) Armstrong of Manchester, Ohio

Preceded in death beside her father is her husband Henry O. Rickett and one brother David Armstrong.

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 second street Vanceburg, Ky.  With Brother Joe Watson officiating. Burial will follow at the Morgan Cemetery at the Head of Grassy.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Friday October 18, 2019 and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services Saturday.

Pallbearers for Linda Rickett will be Ronald and Donald Armstrong, Stuart Schwendeman, Cody Armstrong, Shelby Rickett, Terrence Armstrong, and Curtis Brewer.
