Lois Jennings Obituary
Mrs. Lois A. Jennings, Age 65, of Vanceburg, Kentucky went to be with her Lord and Saviour Wednesday March 13th, 2019, at the Hospice Care center in Portsmouth, Ohio after an extended illness.
Lois was born in Lewis County, Kentucky April 17, 1953 to the late Otis and Sarah McGlone Cooper. Lois graduated from Berea College with her Bachelors’ degree in education, then went on to earn her Masters degree from Morehead State University in education. She was an educator for the Lewis County school System for 27 years from which she retired.
Lois was an avid Bible reader, and was a STRONG Christian woman. She liked reading, art, and enjoying her flowers. Lois was a member of the Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church.
Surviving Lois is her husband Daniel Jennings of Vanceburg, Ky.
One son- Jeremy (Hope) Bucher Jennings of Greenup, Ky.
One sister- Sharon K. Cooper of Vanceburg, Ky.
One brother- Roger (Delores) Cooper of Vanceburg, Ky.
Several nieces and nephews along with many cousins also survive who will mourn her passing.
Preceded her in death beside her parents was a mother-in-law Norma Armstrong.
Visitation will be Saturday March 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday March 16, 2019, at 12:00 PM at the Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church with Brother Terry Cooper officiating.
