Loretta G. Fugate Age 85 of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday July 11, 2012 at 9:58 PM at the Cabell Huntington Hospital Huntington, West Virginia after a brief illness.
Ms. Fugate was born in Greenup County, Kentucky October 15, 1926 to the late George W. & Chloe Alexander Terry. She was a homemaker and was a foster Grandparent for nine years. She also, worked for U.S. Shoe and Williams Shoe Factory in Portsmouth, Ohio. She attended the Faith Baptist Church in Quincy, Kentucky.
Preceded her in death was her husband of fifty years Corbett Fugate in 1996. 2-sisters- Roberta Nickel, & Lorena Johnson. 2-half-brothers- Stanley Terry & Harlan Terry. and a half-sister- Helen Keagley.
Surviving is a Daughter- Janice (Buddy) Smith of Vanceburg, Ky.
1-Son- Terry (Lena) Fugate- Vanceburg, Ky.
1-Brother- Paul Terry- of South Shore, Ky. and 1-sister- Patricia Warner of Lexington, Ky.
Three Grandchildren- Sean (Michele) Fugate, Troy (Felicia) Smith, and Angie (Jim) Sinclair. six-great-grandchildren also survive.
Friends may call from 6-8PM Friday and from 8:00am until time of services Saturday at the Gaydos Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Tim Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery Quincy, Ky.
