Marjorie E. Lykins, Age 81, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Marjorie was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky March 27, 1936 to the late Walter and Ethel Setters Chinn. She was a homemaker and caregiver. Marjorie love to read and work puzzles in her spare time. She loved her family and adored spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Southern Manor Baptist Church.

 

Surviving Marjorie are two daughters- Jackie (Michael) Howard, and Kathy Heater both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Three sons- Michael (Vickie) Lykins, Ronald (Rita) Lykins, and Dusty (Lynn) Lykins all of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

14 grandchildren and 17-great-grandchildren .

Sister- Janie Fetters of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

 

Preceded her in death beside her parents was her husband Earl Lykins in 1992, one son- Donald Lykins, Two daughters- Rebecca Stafford and Lisa Meadows.

4-infant sons and 1- infant daughter, and one grandson- Jason Heater.

4-brothers- Elmer, Bill, Harlan, and Marvin Chinn.

3-sisters- Edith Thoroughman, Lucille Gilbert, and Loretta Walker.

 

Funeral services will be Wednesday November 1^st, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Reverend Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be Tuesday October 31^st, 2017 from 6-9 pm and from 8:00am until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers for Marjorie E. Lykins will be Josh Heater, Randy Lykins, Ronnie Lykins, Kalin Chatman, Wesley & Larry Fetters, Cole Lykins, Chad Heater, and Brad Lykins.
