Mark Anthony Smith

Mr. Mark Anthony Smith, Age 42, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday August 28, 2022.  Mark, was born October 18, 1979 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Norman and Phyliss Brown Smith of Vanceburg, Ky.

Mark was employed as a factory worker.  He loved to go fishing and hunting in his spare time.  He also loved to travel to Alabama to see his BEST friend, Andy Reeder.  Mark was a sports enthusiast especially playing softball.  Most of all he loved his family dearly especially his son Kaden.

Preceded Mark in death was a brother- Joey Smith, paternal grandparents- Norman and Lucy Smith, Maternal grandparents- Harvey and Marie Brown, and a very special Aunt and Uncle Jim and Judy Bloomfield.

Left to cherish Mark’s memories is a son- Kaden Blake of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Parents Norman and Phyliss Brown Smith of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

One brother- Norman Smith Jr. of Garrison, Kentucky.

Several nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn his passing.

Funeral service will be Friday September 2^nd, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Brother Tony Corns officiating.  Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Friday September 2^nd, 2022 from 11:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.
