Marvin E. Griffitt

Mr. Marvin E. Griffitt, Age 66, of Tollesboro, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 20^th, 2022 at his home.

Marvin, was born in Lewis County, Kentucky April 10, 1955 to the late Louis and Zelma Toller Griffitt.  He was a carpenter by trade, and loved to go fishing and watching good westerns on TV.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife of 30 years whom he married January 9, 1992 Jacqulin Griffitt of Tollesboro, Ky.

Three daughters- Shawnda (Aaron) Farley and Mary Griffitt both of Vanceburg, Ky.  Shanalee (Chris Branham) Applegate of Morehead, Ky.

One son- Emil Bloomfield of Perth, Australia.  18- grandchildren and 19-great grandchildren.

Four sisters- Helen Whisman, Lilly Whisman, Ruth McDaniel, and Lucille Butler.

Two brothers- Chester Griffitt and Lester Griffitt.  Along with many family and friends who also  will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents was a son- Bradley Griffitt, brothers- Maurice Griffitt and Lewis Griffitt.  Grandson- Gage Carpenter.

At the family’s request there will be no services for Mr. Marvin E. Griffitt.
