Ms. Mary Ruth Beckett, Age 96, of Franklin, Ohio, formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday July 25, 2019.  Mary was born May 9, 1923 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late Orville and Elizabeth Plummer.

She graduated from high school in Vanceburg and became a nurse working in several hospitals.  Preceded her in death beside her parents was her husband of 51 years, Harry F. Beckett in 2001.  Brothers- Joseph and Ralph Plummer and sisters- Dorothy Lewis and Helen Wheeler.

Mary was a dedicated wife, mother & grandmother.

She is survived by her son- and daughter-in-law, Steven & Bobbie Beckett of Tipp City, Ohio; grandchildren, Heather Casto, Caitlin Lewis & Tyler Beckett.

Graveside services were held Monday July 29, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak, Kentucky with Pastor Tom Cox Jr. officiating.

Gaydos Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
