Mary E. Tolle

Mary E. Tolle Age 88 of 155 Oak Street passed away with her family by her side Tuesday June 12, 2012 at 4:05 am at her home after an extended illness. Ms. Tolle was born in Garrison, Kentucky September 7, 1923 to the late James Leonard and Annie Jane Fyffe Cotten.

She was an assistant Post Master for Garrison, Ky. also was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Gayle Denham. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, and a member of the First Family of Tennessee. She was also a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Tolle July 10, 2007, 4-brothers- John Cotten, Herbert Cotten, William Ernest Cotten, and Wilburn Cotten,

Surviving are 2- brothers- Oliver Cotten of Florence, Alabama and Harlan Cotten of Maysville, Ky.

Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Thursday June 14, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Paul Ray Etterling officiating. Burial will follow at Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Ky.

Friends and family may call from 11:00am until 1:00pm Thursday at the Gaydos Funeral Home.
