Mr. Matthew Roy Meredith, Age 30, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Friday August 3^rd, 2018 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center Maysville, Kentucky.

Matthew was born in Morehead, Kentucky May 4, 1988 to Lester Meredith of Bath County, Kentucky and Debbie Mitchell Meredith of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

 

Matthew worked for the Madden Sawmill and various other sawmills in the area including Moore & White Lumber Company, and the Goodwin sawmill here in Vanceburg. Matthew loved to go fishing and riding his 4-wheeler.

 

Surviving Matthew are his parents Lester Meredith of Bath County, Ky., and Debbie Mitchell Meredith of Vanceburg, Ky.

One son- Evan Matthew Maynard.

Two brothers- John (Amy) Meredith; Thomas (Debra Thompson) Meredith both of Vanceburg, Ky.

Two nephews- Joshua and Jonathan Meredith. Niece Amber Meredith.

Great niece- Ariana Hardin.

Lifelong companion- Renae Conley of Vanceburg, Ky.

Step-daughter- Emily Corns

Paternal grandmother- Goldie Little of Vanceburg, Ky.

Several Aunts, Uncles, & cousins also survive who will mourn his passing.

 

A Memorial service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park Vanceburg, Kentucky Sunday August 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm with Brother Tony Corns officiating.
