Mrs. Melissa Jo Howard Heater, Age 39, of Tollesboro, Kentucky passed away Saturday September 14, 2019 at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth Ohio.

Melissa was born July 16, 1980 in Ashland, Kentucky to Jerry Howard of Grayson, Ky and Robbin Grubb Howard of Ashland, Ky.

Melissa was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed going on vacation, visiting the beach, attending concerts, and spending time with her beloved friends and family.

Surviving Melissa is her husband Chad Heater whom she married in Tennessee three years ago.

Her daughter whom was her pride and joy Makayla Ruggles.

Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 second street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery with Brother Wes Cooper officiating.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday September 18, 2019.
