Michael S. Williamson, Age 70, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday October 26, 2017after an extended illness at SOMC Hospice.

 

Michael was born in Lewis County, Ky September 13, 1947 to the late Patrick and Betty Wilcoxin Williamson. Michael was a boat pilot with Crouse Corporation for over 30 years. He was a Lifetime member of the VFW Post 5438 Monte Lewis Stamm. He was a United States Air force veteran. He loved fishing, hunting, and four wheeling with his grandchildren.

 

He is survived by 3-Daughters Tonia (Wayne) Hughes of Vanceburg, Sherrie Williamson (Chris Cooley) of Tollesboro, and Lisa (Jinx) Jarrells of Vanceburg.

4- Grandchildren Steven Williamson of West union, Ohio, Alyssa (Cody) Vaughn of Maysville, Kaleb Jarrells of Vanceburg, and Skye Hughes of Vanceburg.

2- Great Grandchildren Bentlee Vaughn and Brinley Williamson

3- Sisters Kathy (Roger) Caldwell of Garrison, Sally (Roger) Prater Foxport, Ky, and Debbie (Jack) Tumlin of Vanceburg

 

Preceded in death beside his parents are his wife Marlene Hobbs Williamson, daughter Crystal Stone, and his great grandson Lucas Williamson.

 

Funeral services will be Monday October 30, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Ky 41179 with pastor Curtis Cordle officiating burial will follow at the Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak.

 

Military graveside rites will be accorded by the V.F.W Post 5438 Monte Lewis Stamm.

 

Friends may call from 5:00pm-9:00pm Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Kentucky and from 8:00am until the time of services on Monday October 30, 2017.
