Mickel E. Nolen

Mickel E. Nolen, 71, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away on February 26, 2026 at home.

He was born on October 11, 1954 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Lovell and Ruth Clark Nolen.

He retired from Browning Manufacturing in Maysville, Kentucky. Mike enjoyed being around his wife and family, working outdoors, and looking for yard art.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathy Monteith Nolen, a son Mickel R. Nolen (Sherry), a daughter Samantha Collins (Nick), four grandchildren, Kayla Burgoon (Derek), Austin Collins (Karter), Hannah Nolen, and Andrew Collins (Olivia), four great-grandchildren Linden and Rowan Collins, Hunter and Peyton Scott, and two brothers Lovell Nolen Jr. (Mabel) and Paul Nolen.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Chris Nolen Smith and Elizabeth Nolen Rickett.

A graveside service will be held on a later date at Skidmore Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
