Mrs. Minnie Moore McCane, Age 78, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday April 26^th, 2018 with her family by her side at the Kenton Pointe Hospice Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky after an extended illness.

 

Minnie was born in Tollesboro, Kentucky September 3, 1939 to the late Clarence and Christina Toller Moore. Minnie was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a caretaker for comprehend systems for individuals with disabilities. She was a member of Clarksburg Christian Church. She loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. Baby sitting for families with love and compassion with love as she would her own family. Family was everything to Minnie.

 

Minnie is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years James 'Tom' McCane of Vanceburg, Ky.

6-Sons Mark (Sherry) McCane, Greg McCane, Jeff (Michelle) McCane, Chris McCane, all of Vanceburg, Ky. Keith McCane of Morehead, Ky, and Steve (Cindy) McCane of Mt. Sterling, Ky

2-Brothers Rob Moore of Tollesboro, Ky and Leslie (Shirley) Moore of Vanceburg, Ky

3-Sisters Louise (Bruce) Thoroughman of Vanceburg, Ky, Alma (Newell) Thomas of Vanceburg, Ky, and Lena Hughes of Cincinnati, Ohio

8-Grandchildren Anthony McCane, Autum (Drew) Smith, Devin McCane, Eric Poynter, Dalton McCane, Zachary McCane, Kaleb McCane, and Sydney McCane

13 Great Grandchildren Drey, Kemp, Reece, Finn, Piper, Cruz, Kash, Ethan, Emely, Tegan, Korbyn, Jase, and Brantley

 

Preceded in death beside her parents are two Sons Kevin McCane and Kyle McCane

4-Sisters Virgina Ruark, Juanita Lykins, Martha Brovard, and Wilma Williams

3-Brothers Elmo Moore, Harold Moore, and Eugene Moore

3-Grandchildren Jacob, Misty, and Jared

 

Funeral services will be Sunday April 29^th, 2018 at the Clarksburg Christian Church with Pastor Barry Pettit officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens, in Black Oak, Ky.

 

Friends may call from 5-8 pm Saturday April 28^th, 2018 at the Clarksburg Christian Church and from 1-3 pm Sunday at the Church.
