Obituary
Nancy Sue Applegate, Age 71, of Wallingford, Kentucky passed away Friday September 2nd, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Nancy was born in Pleasant Corners, Ohio October 5th, 1950 to the late Wayne and Opal Heskett Coffenberger. Nancy worked for the Department of Health in Ohio as a hospital aide and in nursing homes. Writing was her passion, she loved to write poetry in her spare time. She also raised a garden and did sewing. Nancy was of the Christian faith.
Left to cherish Nancy’s memories is a daughter Stacy Applegate of Wallingford, Kentucky
Son- Michael Shane Applegate of Alexandria, Kentucky.
Four grandchildren- Chea Applegate, Nicholas Castle, Briana Castle, and Ashley Applegate. 9-great grandchildren also survive who will mourn her passing.
Preceded in death beside her parents was her husband Kenneth M. Applegate in May 15, 2005. One son- Shawn Applegate; one sister, and three brothers.
At Nancy’s request there will be no services or visitation at this time.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date in the Mineer cemetery
