Nellie Marie Bramel, Age 89, passed away Monday January 27, 2025 at her home. Nellie was born July 31, 1935 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Louis and Lorene May Bevins.

Nellie was a Homemaker. She enjoyed Gardening, coloring, and painting. She was of the Christian faith.  Nellie loved her hats.

She is survived by two daughters Sandra (Gary) Smith of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Sharon (Charles) Blankenship of Circleville, Ohio. One brother Roger Bevins of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Four sisters Carrie Rose of Maysville, Kentucky, Rita (Gary) Cropper of Rena (Ronnie) Meadows and Rosalie (Randall) Noble all of Tollesboro, Kentucky. Five Grandchildren Rhonda (Jeff) Boyd, Charlette (Larry) Collins, Darrell Smith, Wayson Blankenship, and Steven (Shalin) Smith. 13- Great Grandchildren also survive who will mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death beside her parents by brothers Calvin Bevins, Jimmy Bevins, Donald Bevins, and Allen Bevins. Sisters Bonnie Sue Bevins, Garnet Bevins, and Joyce Earls. Two grandchildren Tina and Susan Smith.

Services will be held Saturday February 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 Second Street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Pastor Jeff Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Flinders cemetery on Quicks Run Road, Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 1, 2025 at the Gaydos Funeral Home.
