Raymond Spanky Richardson

Mr. Raymond H. (Spanky) Richardson, Age 57, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away at his home Wednesday August 8, 2018.

Spanky which he was known as was born in Tazewell County, Virginia January 8, 1961 to the late Leck Graham and Beulah Irene Hess Richardson. Spanky loved being outdoors working in his garden and mowing the yard. He also worked for Superior Fibers for 15 years. He also was a carpenter.

Surviving Spanky is his wife of 19 years whom he married in Vanceburg, Ky. Sharon Smith Richardson.

One son- Spanky (Juanita) Richardson of Tollesboro, Ky.

Two daughters- Mandy Richardson and Betty Ann Richardson.

Two step-sons- Ronald (Kayce) Gleckler of Utica, Ohio, Donald (Brenda) Gleckler of Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

Step-father who raised Spanky, Lewis Dye of Mansfield, Ohio.

Granddaughters whom he raised Brittany McDonald of Vanceburg, Ky., and Samantha Gleckler of Greenup, Ky.

One sister- Vera Richardson of Ohio.

4-grandchildren, two great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews who also will mourn his passing.

At the family's request there will be no services.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date at the convience of the family.
