Robin Elizabeth Polley, Age 60, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday January 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky after an extended illness.

Robin was born in Portsmouth, Ohio July 17, 1963 to the late Clarence and Mima Royal Switzer.  Robin was a mother and grandmother to several children.  She was a homemaker and loved scrapbooking.  Robin, had a unique talent for making cards for every occasion, birthdays, anniversary, and Bible markers.

She was a GED instructor in Vanceburg, Kentucky for several years also a member of the Lewis County Foster Review Board.  She was a member of the Muses Chapel Community Church on Quicks Run where she taught Bible school.

Preceded her in death beside her parents were sisters- Kathy Wilson, Jane Yates, and Carol ‘Georgie’ Switzer.

Brothers- James ‘Bubbles’ Switzer, Tom Switzer, and Rick Switzer.

Left to cherish Robin’s memories is her husband of 41 years whom she married February 20, 1982 Ray Polley.

Sisters- Thelma (Wayne) King of Nevada, Ohio, Sue Kennedy -Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Donna (Mike) Grayson of Tollesboro, Kentucky.

Brother- Chuck Switzer of Vanceburg, Kentucky.  Many nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn her passing.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 30, 2024 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Muses Chapel community Church on Quicks Run.

Funeral service will be Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Muses Chapel Community Church with Pastor Mike Grayson and Brother Terry Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Muses Chapel cemetery.

Pallbearers for Robin E. Polley will be Zander Hartley, Tommy Polley, Zach Tulley, Tommy Polley Jr., Brad Polley, Derrick Switzer, Hunter Gage Switzer, and Daryl Switzer.
