Ronnie G. Carrington Sr., Age 59, of Vanceburg, Kentucky went to be with his Lord and Saviour Monday June 8, 2026 surrounded by his family at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Ronnie was born in Lewis County, Ky. October 22, 1966 to the late Robert and Flora Bloomfield Carrington.

Ronnie worked for the Vanceburg Nursing Home for over 12 years.  He loved reading his Bible and playing his guitar.  Ronnie was of the Pentecostal faith.

Surviving Ronnie is his wife Teresa Alcorn Carrington of Vanceburg, Ky.

Daughter- Kayla (Joey) Scott of Orangeburg, Ky.

Son- Ronnie G. Carrington Jr. and his wife (Christine) of Lexington, Ky.

Four sisters- Judy (Rickey) Rickards- Wheelersburg, Ohio, Connie Bryan of Tollesboro, Ky., Goldie Meadows of Greenup, Ky., and Donna King and her fiancé Mike Clark of Quincy, Ky.

Brothers- Charles (Ayanna) Carrington of Vanceburg, Ky., and Shelby Carrington of Williamsburg, Ohio.

Three grandchildren whom he loved and adored Madilynn Gloss, Waylon and Jackson Scott.

Preceded in death beside his parents was his first wife- Wilma Edington, a brother Robert Carrington and twins Cory and Roy Carrington in infancy.

A Private funeral service will be held for the family at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Ky. With Brother Terry Dingess officiating.
