Mrs. Sally M. Prater, Age 66, of Wallingford, Kentucky passed away peacefully Wednesday February 28^th, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.

Sally was born in Portsmouth, Ohio July 31, 1951 to the late Patrick and Betty Wilcoxon Williamson. Sally worked for Al' s Pizza for 30 years, she also worked for Lewis County Foodland for 5 years. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored.

 

Surviving Sally is her husband of 46 years whom she married October 29^th, 1971 in Vanceburg, Roger Dale Prater.

Four daughters and sons-in-law- Michelle (Anthony) Pollitt- Concord, Ky., Brakenda (Brian) Stone; Amanda (Michael) Cook; and Alicia (Allen) Bloomfield all of Vanceburg, Ky.

Two sisters and brothers-in-law- Kathy (Roger) Caldwell of Garrison, Ky.; Debra (Jack) Tumlin of Vanceburg, Ky.

10-grandchildren and one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews also who will mourn her passing.

 

Preceded her in death beside her parents was a brother- Michael Williamson, one great granddaughter Audrey Pollitt, and a niece Crystal Stone.

 

Funeral services will be Sunday March 4, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with Brother Layne Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in the Prater Family Cemetery Wallingford, Ky.

 

Visitation will be Saturday March 3^rd, 2018 from 5-8 pm and Sunday from 8:00am until time of services at the funeral home.

Pallbearers for Sally M. Prater will be Jacob Bloomfield, Brandon Stone, Brian Stone, Jeremy Pollitt, Anthony Pollitt, and Michael Cook. Honorary pallbearer will be Kyrstyn Bloomfield.
