Sarah Jane (Davis) Pierce

Mrs. Sarah Jane Davis Pierce, Age 70, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at the Vanceburg Rehabilitation Center in Vanceburg, Kentucky after an extended illness.

Sarah Jane was born in Carter County, Kentucky, April 28, 1951 to the late Harvey and Hazel Parson Davis.

 Sarah Jane loved to do crafts, paint, and color in her coloring books. She liked to get out and walk around town, and watch classic TV shows especially westerns. Sarah loved to get her hair done and enjoyed shopping especially her special Christmas shopping trips. Sarah collected baby dolls and adored them so.

She was preceded in death beside her parents by her husband Russell H. Pierce. One Daughter Belle Mary Pierce. One brother David Crockett Davis, and One sister Pauline Knell.

 Surviving Sarah is her One sister Debra Faye (Tim) Jordan of Vanceburg, Kentucky. One Brother Douglas Davis of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Caregivers Lorie (Tony) Gaydos of Vanceburg, Ky, and many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be Tuesday September 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Dr. Howard Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Point Cemetery Lewis County, KY.

Friends may call Tuesday September 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
