Scotty Dale Rowe, Age 40, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Monday January 29, 2024.

Scotty was born in Morehead, Kentucky May 20, 1983 to Bill Hardy of Tollesboro, Kentucky and Debbie Rowe of Vanceburg.  Scotty was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.  He was very talented in wittling pieces of wood into about anything you wanted.  Scotty worked for Journey’s Jumpys for the last 4 years.  He was of the Christian faith.

Left to cherish Scotty’s memories are his parents Bill Hardy of Tollesboro, Kentucky and his Mother Debbie Rowe of Vanceburg.

Daughter- Jolene Rowe of Grayson, Kentucky.

Son- Scotty Rowe Jr. of Grayson, Kentucky.

Two sisters- Kayla (Joey) Caseman of Tollesboro, Kentucky and Ashley Rowe of Morehead, Kentucky.

Maternal grandmother- Rosemary Applegate of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Preceded Scotty in death was a maternal grandfather Clifford Applegate and Uncle Christopher ‘Rocky’ Applegate.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday February 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Jason Bryant and Nathan Applegate officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday February 10, 2024 from 11:00am until time of services at Gaydos Funeral Home.
