Sharrie Ellen Pierce, Age 66, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Friday August 19^th, 2022 at her home after an extended illness.  Sharrie was born in Traverse City, Michigan July 2^nd, 1956 to the late Virgil and Hazel Davis Pierce.

Sharrie, was a homemaker, caretaker for her family.  Taking care of her children and grandchildren was her soul purpose in life in which she loved doing.  She was of the Christian faith.

Preceded in death beside her parents was a son Edward (Eddie) James Howard in 2016, and a great-granddaughter- Ainsley Jade Howard in 2022.  Two-sisters- Linda Vergne, and Minnie Pierce.  One brother- Virgil Pierce Jr.

Left to cherish Sharrie’s memories is her companion of 35 years- Charles Douglas Thompson of Vanceburg, Ky.

One daughter- Sonya (Paul) Sprouse of Vanceburg, Ky.

One son- Dennis Wayne Howard and Laura Bachman of Vandalia, Ohio.

One sister- Vanetta Mosley- Garrison, Kentucky.

Three brothers- George Pierce of Florida; John (Carla) Pierce of Quincy, Ky., and Nolan Pierce of Maysville, Ky.

8-grandchildren- Aaron Howard, Dustin Sealock, Cody Howard, Courtney Howard, Brianna Howard, Heather Edington, Chris Sprouse, and Paul Sprouse.

10-great grandchildren- Christopher Sprouse, Wyatt Craig, Tucker Howard, Camden Howard, Karson Sprouse, Kainen Highfield, Bentley Sealock, Aubree Sealock, Braxton Lee Sealock, and Adley Sealock who also will mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 26^th, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with Brother Joe Watson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Skidmore cemetery Garrison, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Friday August 26^th, 2022 from 9:00am until time of services at the funeral home.  Pallbearers for Sharrie Ellen Pierce will be family and friends.
