Terry “Mike” Mustard, Age 65, of Vanceburg passed away unexpectedly Saturday September 23, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Mike was born in Lewis County, Kentucky September 10, 1952 to the late Ollie F. and Mabel Mae Tackett Mustard. Mike worked at US Shoe in Vanceburg, and Carmuse for 15 years from which he retired. He was a member of the Vanceburg Christian Church. He was an avid Hunter and fisherman in which he enjoyed hunting with his brothers. He also liked playing softball. Was a loving father and grandfather. Mike adored his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 39 years whom he married February 4, 1978 in Quincy, Kentucky Shauna Hasler Mustard of Vanceburg.
2-Daughters Amanda (Dustin) Singer of Tollesboro, Ky and Sara Mustard of Vanceburg, Ky
One Son Dereck (Kayla) Mustard of Vanceburg, Ky
4-Granddaughters Olivia Mustard, Emmi Mustard, Hadley Singer, and Madilyn Singer and one grandson.
3-Brothers Farrell Mustard of Vanceburg, Ky, Dale (Lois) Mustard of Tollesboro, Ky, and Larry (Regina) Concord, Ky
Mother-in-law Karol Hasler of Vanceburg, KY
Preceded in death beside his parents was a sister Magdeline Sparks, Sister-in-law JoAnn Mustard, Brother-in-law George Sparks, and Father-in-law James Hasler
Services will be Wednesday September 27, 2017, at 11:00AM at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 Second Street Vanceburg, Ky 41179 with Pastor Tom Cox Jr. officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 5:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday September 26, 2017 and from 8:00AM until the time of services Wednesday at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
In Lieu of Flowers Donations can be made to the Vanceburg Christian Church.
