Thomas L. Jenkins

Thomas L. Jenkins, Age 72, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Monday March 11, 2013 at 12:50 PM at his home after an extended illness.

Mr. Jenkins was a self-employed businessman here in Vanceburg where he owned and operated Jenkins Roofing Company.

Mr. Jenkins was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia January 21, 1941 to the late Ralph Thomas Jenkins and Betty Whitehead Streng.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years whom he married in Parkersburg, West Virginia May 3, 1964 Sharon Burgess Jenkins of Vanceburg, Ky.

One Daughter- Lisa Hahn of Vanceburg, Ky.

One Son- Joseph (JoAnna) Jenkins of Vanceburg, Ky.

Mother- Betty Whitehead Streng- Vanceburg, Ky.

1-Grandson- Ricky Hahn

3-Granddaughters- Rachel Hahn of Vanceburg, Ky. Amanda Jenkins of Tampa, Florida, and Silver Jenkins of Portsmouth, Ohio.

1- Great Grandson- Wyatt Johnson

1- Great Granddaughter- Zoey Jenkins

Preceded in death beside his father Ralph, was a son T.J. Jenkins in 1998, and a brother Ellis Jenkins.

A memorial service will be held Sunday March 17, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Wilson officiating.

Burial will be at the Thomas Cemetery on Indian Creek, Ky.at a later date.
