Traci Lee (Killen) Swingler

Traci Lee Swingler age 48 of Vanceburg, Ky. passed away unexpectedly, Thursday June 5, 2025, with her loving family by her side at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Traci was born in Landstuhl, Germany July 9, 1976 to Earl and Karen McCane Killen.  Traci was a Nurse Practitioner for Southern Ohio Medical Center where she worked in Occupational Medicine for the last six years.  Prior to that she  was a Registered nurse for SOMC for ten years.  She loved traveling, listening to music, and going to the beach with her family.  She was very fond of her dogs.  She was an AVID Bengals fan.  Most of all she loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren.

Left to cherish Traci’s memories is her husband of 28 years, whom she married January 25, 1997, Robert Swingler of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Father- Earl Killen (Addie Clark) Tollesboro, Kentucky.

Mother- Karen (Mike) Kempf Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Three sons- Andrew Swingler, and Kenton Swingler both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.  Ryan (Selena) Swingler of Quincy, Kentucky.

Four grandchildren- Archer, Wrenley, Myla, and Rowan.

Five sisters- Jennifer (Duane) Osborne- Carlisle, Kentucky; Cathi (Wes) Madden- Garrison, Kentucky, and Sandi Killen (Steven Reis) of Vanceburg, Kentucky.  Emilee Gubeno, and Rachel (Josh) Moerlein.

Several family, friends, nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn her passing.

At Traci’s request there will be no services at this time.  A private Memorial service will be held at a later date.
