Vera L. (Jordan) Lambert

Mrs. Vera L. Lambert, Age 73, of Grayson, Kentucky passed away peacefully with her family by her side Thursday July 20, 2023 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky after an extended illness.

Vera was born in Lewis County, Kentucky December 31, 1949 to the late William Roy and Mamie Marie Cooper Jordan.  Vera worked for the ambulance service as a dispatcher and bookkeeper.  She also was a homemaker.  Vera was a member of the Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church.

Surviving is her husband of 53 years whom she married August 30, 1969 on Trace Fork, Kentucky Carl E. Lambert of Grayson, Kentucky.

One daughter- Carla L. Lambert of Grayson, Kentucky.

One son- William E. (Rebecca) Lambert of Grayson, Kentucky.  7- grandchildren, and several family members and friends who also will mourn her passing.

Preceded in death beside her parents was a sister Yvonna Sharon Jordan in infancy.

Visitation for Vera will be Monday July 24, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.

Funeral services will be Monday July 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Brother Scott Lambert officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lambert cemetery Grayson, Kentucky.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Vera L. Lambert will be David Howard, Tim Jordan, and Samuel Hamilton.
