William Frank Arthurs

-William Franklin (Frank) Arthurs, Age 89, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Friday May 20^th, 2022 at his home.  Frank was a life- long farmer and Logger and attended Vanceburg Christian Baptist Church.

Frank was born in Mason County, Kentucky January 7, 1933 to the late John William and Mary Belle Stidam Arthurs.

Frank, was quick with a smile and to shake your hand.  Everyone he met was a friend.  His greatest joys in life were his children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruby Polley Arthurs and one brother Roy Arthurs.

Preceded in death beside his parents were sisters Beulah Hopper and Laura Applegate.  Brothers Leon Arthurs, Bruce Arthurs, and Carl Arthurs.

His children left to cherish his wonderful memories are Frankie Dale (Kristi) Arthurs- Oak Ridge, Ky, Barbara Arthurs- Vanceburg, Ky., Beverly (Darren) Stanfield- Flemingsburg, Ky., and Rex (Tracy) Arthurs of Vanceburg, Ky.

Grandchildren- Jessica (Jeremy) Montieth, Jeremy (Katie) Cooper, Cory Stanfield, Sarah (Kenny) Stamper, Dalton Stanfield, Hannah Stanfield, Josh Arthurs, Madison Arthurs, Colten Arthurs, Lindsey (Ryan) Woods, and Eric and Cayeann Cowan.  11-great-grandchildren along with many friends who also will mourn his passing.

Visitation will be Monday May 23^rd, 2022 from 5-8 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd Street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 24^th, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Conley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wedonia cemetery in Mason County, Ky.

Pallbearers for William Franklin Arthurs will be Frankie Arthurs, Rex Arthurs, Jeremy Cooper, Cory Stanfield, Andrew Montieth, and Steven Ginn.
