William Thomas Clark Jr., Age 90, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday January 15th, 2022 with his family by his side at the Hartland Hills Assisted Living Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Bill Tom, as he was known by family and friends was born in Covington, Kentucky June 20th, 1931 to the late William T. Clark Sr. and Anna Kathryn Ort.
Bill Tom received his Bachelor of Science, Master Degree, and PHD. from the University of Kentucky. Early in his career he taught at Alabama Poly Technical Institute aka (Auburn University). Teaching also at Indiana State College in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky for 22 years. Bill Tom, also taught in the Lewis County School system here in Vanceburg, Ky.
Bill Tom was a member of the Vanceburg United Methodist Church, Charter member of the Lewis County Historical society. Became a Master Mason 67 years ago being raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. Member of the Scottish Rites of Covington earning his 32nd degree. Member of the Polar Star Lodge # 363 Free and Accepted Masons, and member of the Stone City Lodge # 963 Free and Accepted Masons. Member of the Order of Eastern Star Alum City Chapter 222, was a Shriner of the El Hasa Temple in Ashland, Ky.
Left to cherish his memories are two sons- Thomas (Metta) Clark, and Albert Clark.
Two grandchildren- Damien Clark and Alex Clark.

Visitation will be Saturday April 30th, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Masonic rites will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm the funeral home with burial to follow at Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Ky. Pastor Bob Sweeney will officiate committal services.
