Wilma Polly (Stacy) Blankenship

Mrs. Wilma Lorene “Polly” Stacy Blankenship, Age 91, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. Polly was born on April 24, 1931 to the late Frank and Mary Evelyn Brewer Stacy in Petersville, Kentucky. Polly was a farmer and homemaker. Polly was a member at the Scotts Branch Church of Christ.

Polly was proceeded in death beside her parents by her husband, Bruce Blankenship, one son David “Crockett” Blankenship, three brothers Earl Stacy, James Stacy, and Elbert “Pude” Stacy, One sister Ermagene Stacy, one grandson Jason Blankenship, and one great great granddaughter Addison.

Polly is survived by two sons Danny (Teresa) Blankenship, and Bruce “Shorty” Blankenship both of Vanceburg, Ky and one daughter Julia (Walter) Butler of Camp Dix, Ky. Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and two close friends Gail Kidwell and Hazel Fannin who will also mourn her passing.

Services will be Saturday February 18, 2023 at 1:00p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 second street, Vanceburg, Ky 41179. With Sister Jeanne Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Blankenship Cemetery at Camp Dix, Ky.

Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Gaydos Funeral Home.
