Ms. Tammy L. Chinn Bivens, Age 50, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday February 12, 2019 at the Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio after an extended illness.

Tammy was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky December 9, 1968 to the late Rose Mary Chinn. 

Tammy worked for the U.S. Shoe Company in Vanceburg and Conn’s Meat Packing Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Tammy was a Lewis County High School graduate Class of 1987.

Surviving Tammy are two daughters’ – Katherine Bivens of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Bethany Highfield of Mount Sterling, Kentucky.

Aunts- Pauline Burriss of Black Oak, Kentucky and Carol Meadows of Petersville, Kentucky.

One granddaughter- Kylie Clark.

Preceded in death beside her mother was a brother Michael Chinn.

Funeral service will be Friday February 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Brother Tony  Corns officiating.  Burial will follow in the Black Oak Cemetery Black Oak, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Friday February 15, 2019 from 9:30 am until time of services at the funeral home.
